Tracey Ryan Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the pedestrian who was tragically struck and killed on Sunday night along Route 36 in Hazlet as a 52-year-old resident of the area.
Tracey Ryan was struck in the right lane heading south at the intersection of Union Avenue shortly before 7:50 p.m., according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. She succumbed to her injuries approximately 45 minutes later at a local hospital. While the prosecutor’s office indicated that Ryan resided in Hazlet, a GoFundMe.com page stated that she was originally from the nearby community of Union Beach and was a married mother of two.
