Casandra Gomez Samano,Jair Martinez-Sanchez Obituary, Death; – Two teenagers lost their lives in a collision on Sunday night in Greenville County, South Carolina, as reported by the coroner’s office.
The victims, Casandra Gomez Samano, 16, from Spartanburg, and Jair Martinez-Sanchez, 19, from Greenville, perished when their vehicle veered off the road, struck a fire hydrant, and subsequently overturned, according to information from the coroner’s office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The incident occurred on Mill Street in Greenville shortly after 9 p.m.
The coroner’s office indicated that “the vehicle was reported to be traveling at a high rate of speed” prior to the accident. The investigation into the cause and manner of death remains ongoing.
