Celci Johnson, Emad Thabet Saadalla Obituary, Death; – The individuals affected by the shooting that occurred late Wednesday night in Rock Hill have been named. The event took place at Budiman’s Smokeshop and Art Gallery located on Cherry Road. Two individuals lost their lives, and another sustained injuries after a man opened fire at the smoke shop, subsequently leading police on a pursuit.
The deceased have been identified as Celci Johnson, a 27-year-old employee, and Emad Thabet Saadalla, a 49-year-old customer. Both were declared dead at the scene. The assailant, Zachary East Elias, was apprehended overnight following a crash near the Highway 21 bridge. He is currently held in the Rock Hill jail, facing charges of two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
