Kimo A Henriques Obituary, Death; – A man fatally shot in Northeast Portland in November has been officially identified by law enforcement, according to authorities.
Kimo A. Henriques, 43, from Vancouver, succumbed to his injuries on the morning of November 20 at a hotel in Northeast Portland, as reported by the Portland Police Bureau. Authorities have confirmed that Henriques’ family has been informed of his passing. Following the incident, one individual was taken into custody.
The shooting occurred at the Quality Inn located on Northeast Sandy Boulevard. Officers arrived at the scene shortly before 7 a.m. and discovered Henriques in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a nearby hospital but unfortunately died shortly thereafter, as stated by officials. Later that afternoon, the Portland Police Bureau conducted a tactical search of the hotel and detained one person for further investigation. The investigation remains ongoing.
