Large King Jr Obituary, Death; – A man was fatally shot early Wednesday morning, according to Omaha police. The incident occurred at approximately 2:46 a.m. near the intersection of 114th and Elm Streets. Officers discovered the victim, identified as 33-year-old Large King Jr., with a gunshot wound. He was transported to CUMC-Bergan Mercy Medical Center while CPR was being administered, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Omaha police reported that two individuals present at the scene were taken to OPD Central Headquarters for further questioning. A witness was present in the residence during the event, but they did not sustain any injuries, as stated by the police. The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
