Jeremiah Law Obituary, Death; – Police in D.C. have released the name of a man who died in the hospital after he was shot inside a Denny’s restaurant on Tuesday. In an update on Dec. 4, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) identified the victim as 18-year-old Jeremiah Law, of Fort Washington, Md.

According to the police department, on Dec. 3 around 10:49 a.m., officers responded to Denny’s located in the 1200 block of Bladensburg Road NE for a shooting. Once on the scene, first responders located Law outside the restaurant suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police said medics took him to the hospital where he died. As the investigation developed, detectives learned the shooting took place inside the restaurant and police were looking for two people who may have been involved.

As of Wednesday, it is still unclear whether Law was an employee or a customer. No arrests have been made in connection to the case and police encourage anyone with information to call 202-727-9099 or text MPD’s Text Tip Line at 50411. MPD said it is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
