Otoniel Diaz Obituary, Death; – The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the motorcyclist who lost his life in a collision on Highway 154 in Santa Barbara County on November 29. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Otoniel Diaz from Goleta.
The incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on Friday when Diaz collided with a guard rail near East Camino Cielo. He was declared dead at the scene. As a result of the accident, both lanes of the highway were temporarily shut down. Officers from the California Highway Patrol were present to assist motorists navigating the area. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
