Kathryn Templet Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who lost their life in a collision on I-10 West at Essen Lane on the morning of December 1. As reported by the Baton Rouge Police Department, the deceased is identified as Kathryn Templet, aged 34.
The incident took place at approximately 10:45 a.m. According to police, Templet was operating a Nissan when she lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a collision with a Mercedes, which subsequently overturned.
The driver of the Mercedes was transported to a medical facility with moderate injuries, while two passengers in the vehicle were reported to be unharmed. At one point, I-10 West was closed to traffic, but all lanes have since been reopened. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
