Floyd C Davis Obituary, Death; – Alabama state troopers are conducting an investigation following the fatal incident involving a Salem man who was hit by a vehicle in a hit-and-run during the week of Thanksgiving.
The accident took place on Alabama Highway 169 near Lee Road 203 on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, shortly after 5 P.M. The victim, identified as 49-year-old Floyd C. Davis, was in the roadway when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle involved in the incident fled the area in an unknown direction.
