Michael Cady Obituary, Death; – One individual has lost his life, while another is currently recuperating in the hospital following a double shooting that occurred near the Oak Grove Fire Department on Monday, as reported by the Wagoner County Sheriff. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has confirmed that the deceased individual was identified as Michael Cady.
Deputies arrived at the scene after receiving an initial call around 5 p.m. According to deputies, the incident involved two individuals in the backyard of a residence who brandished firearms during a dispute that escalated into a gunfight.
Authorities are still investigating the underlying cause of the disagreement. Law enforcement officials have stated that both victims were acquainted with one another. One of the men was transported to the fire department by a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound, as reported by deputies.
Deputies noted that the mother of a boy scout was present at the fire department for a project and provided assistance prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
