Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvivas Obituary, Death; – The spouse of a woman who was fatally shot during a carjacking incident in April near Winter Springs has been apprehended and charged at the federal level.

Miguel Angel Aguasvivas Lizardo faces allegations of conspiracy to engage in money laundering. The federal indictment indicates that prosecutors believe Lizardo has served as a courier for drug-related finances for several years, including during the trip taken by his wife, 31-year-old Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvivas, which culminated in her tragic death.

On April 11, Aguasvivas was halted at a traffic signal at the intersection of East Lake Drive and Tuskawilla Road in her Dodge Durango when a masked assailant armed with a 10mm automatic handgun exited a green Acura and entered her vehicle, seemingly compelling her to drive away under duress. This incident was recorded by another motorist.

Prior to the carjacking being filmed, the driver of the green vehicle began colliding with the rear of Aguasvivas’ SUV, as noted by Sheriff Dennis Lemma, who also mentioned that she subsequently contacted her husband to inform him that she was being pursued.

Less than two hours later, the Durango was discovered engulfed in flames in Osceola County, following reports from witnesses who heard gunfire at a construction site near Boggy Creek Road. Sheriff Lemma stated that the vehicle was so severely damaged that it was unidentifiable, and Aguasvivas’ body was located inside.

Initially, Lizardo informed law enforcement that his wife was en route to Central Florida to visit family; however, authorities found no evidence of any relatives residing in the area, nor were there any records linking Aguasvivas or her husband to that location.

Subsequent investigations revealed that Aguasvivas had traveled to Casselberry to meet another individual, Giovany Crespo Hernandez, 27, to collect $170,000 in proceeds from drug trafficking activities. Crespo Hernandez, along with three accomplices, had plotted to rob her of the funds, which ultimately led to the deadly carjacking, as announced by investigators.
