Michael Schoenherr Obituary, Death; – Austin police have confirmed the identity of the pedestrian who lost his life in a hit-and-run incident on East Ben White Boulevard in August. The individual responsible for the incident remains unidentified.
Michael Schoenherr, a 38-year-old Caucasian male, was struck at approximately 1:04 a.m. on August 27 in the 700 block of the westbound service road of East Ben White Boulevard, close to a Murphy’s gas station, as reported by the Austin Police Department.
The vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene immediately following the collision. The APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit is currently conducting an investigation and is appealing to the public for assistance in locating the suspect vehicle.
