Julie Butcher Obituary, Death; – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a woman who was fatally shot while driving on the Northeast Side.
Julie Butcher, aged 31, sustained a gunshot wound to the head shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Friday, occurring on the southbound access road of Interstate 35, situated between Eisenhauer Road and Rittiman Road. Following the incident, law enforcement officials reported that Butcher’s vehicle overturned before coming to a halt.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, Butcher was declared deceased at the scene. Investigators indicated that they believe the shooting was a targeted act. Currently, authorities have not released any information regarding a suspect or a suspect vehicle.
