Deanna Garcia Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the woman who was fatally shot in a north Wichita incident that took place on Wednesday evening. A male witness reported to the police that he was present in the residence with the woman when gunfire erupted outside. He was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.
The woman, identified by law enforcement as 48-year-old Deanna Garcia, was initially admitted in extremely critical condition. The Wichita Police Department announced on Thursday morning that she had succumbed to her injuries.
