Lamont Johnson Obituary, Death; – A 51-year-old man has been confirmed as one of the individuals who suffered fatal injuries on Tuesday afternoon at Navy Pier in Chicago, as reported by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The deceased has been identified as Lamont Johnson, residing on the 18300 block of Glen Oak Avenue in Lansing. He was shot in the 600 block of East Grand Avenue on Tuesday, according to officials from the medical examiner’s office, who provided this information on Wednesday morning. The identity of the second victim remains unconfirmed.
The assailant, believed to have been dismissed from his position on October 14, reportedly targeted two employees around 1:20 p.m. in a loading dock and a nearby administrative office located at the far end of the pier, discharging multiple rounds. As of Wednesday morning, the suspect remains at large.
