Mary Neale Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost her life in a crash on Friday in Adams County has been identified as a woman from Centre County, Pennsylvania, as reported by the coroner’s office.
Mary Neale, aged 79, from Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, was the victim of the incident that took place on Route 15 southbound near mile marker 4.5 in Cumberland Township, Adams County, at approximately 10:35 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, as confirmed by Adams County Chief Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewill.
Following the accident, Neale was transported to Gettysburg Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries later that day, according to previous statements from the coroner’s office. Pennewill indicated that the cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt force injuries, and an autopsy was performed on Saturday, November 2.
Neale was operating one of the two vehicles involved in the collision. Her husband, who was a passenger in her vehicle, sustained no serious injuries and was subsequently taken to York Hospital, from which he was later discharged, Pennewill reported. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash also did not suffer serious injuries, according to Pennewill.
The incident remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police and the Cumberland Township police, he confirmed.
