Neiko Swesey Obituary, Death; – Detectives are of the opinion that a 25-year-old man from Akron, who was fatally shot in October, was a victim of an accidental shooting.
On October 25, Akron Police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment located in the 1100 block of Keys Place shortly before 10:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Neiko Swesey, aged 25, suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
On the following Monday, Akron Police indicated that there is evidence pointing to an unidentified individual discharging a firearm outside the apartment complex, with one of the stray bullets seemingly penetrating a wall or window and striking Swesey.
