The Pembroke Police Department is actively searching for Mekiya Werrell Strickland, who is identified as a Black female, approximately four feet ten inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Authorities believe Mekiya may be traveling with her father, Claude Leslie Werrell. They may be in a blue 2011 Chevrolet Traverse bearing North Carolina license plate LBL1909, as reported by Pembroke officers to WCNC Charlotte. Claude Werrell, aged 50, is described as a Black male, standing six feet five inches tall and weighing 280 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
