Doria Hernandez Archila Obituary, Death; – A tragic accident in Midland County has resulted in the deaths of a 37-year-old woman and a 10-month-old child.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident took place around 3:19 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23. Doria Hernandez Archila and the infant, both residents of Odessa, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial reports from the DPS suggest that a 2019 Freightliner was heading north on Farm-to-Market Road 1788, while a 2018 Toyota Highlander was traveling west on County Road 58. The Toyota did not yield at a stop sign at the intersection and was subsequently struck by the Freightliner.
