Kristy Moore,Michael Foust Obituary, Death; – Three individuals lost their lives in a vehicular accident on a heavily trafficked highway in Pitt County on Sunday. According to the Highway Patrol, the incident involving a single vehicle occurred just before 1:00 a.m. on U.S. 13, in the vicinity of Ballards Crossroads Road.
Authorities report that the vehicle was traveling westward when it crossed the centerline, overcorrected, veered off the right side of the highway, collided with a ditch and a brick driveway, and subsequently overturned.
The deceased include the driver, 38-year-old Kristy Moore, along with two passengers, 44-year-old Brandy Baker and 37-year-old Michael Foust, all residents of Greenville. Troopers indicated that none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts, resulting in all three being ejected from the vehicle.
