Mary E Kerwin Obituary, Death; – A 79-year-old woman lost her life after being hit by a United States Postal Service delivery vehicle while attempting to cross Main Street in East Aurora on Sunday, as reported by law enforcement officials.

The victim was transported to ECMC via Mercy Flight but succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, according to East Aurora police. She has been identified as Mary E. Kerwin, a resident of East Aurora.

According to police reports, Kerwin was crossing Main Street at the intersection with Olean Road at 10:02 a.m. on Sunday when the USPS vehicle made a right turn from Olean Street and collided with her. As of now, no charges have been filed against the driver, who has been cooperative with authorities at the scene. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
