Michael Joseph Waters Obituary, Death; – A suspect was apprehended following the fatal shooting of a man on Friday night at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.
At approximately 10 p.m. on Friday, law enforcement responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment complex located in the 1900 block of Minnie Lane, near the intersection of Northwest 19th Street and Meridian Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an individual who had been shot and was deceased in the parking area. The victim has been identified by the Oklahoma City Police Department as Michael Joseph Waters.
Authorities indicated that investigators were able to ascertain the identity of a suspect, who was subsequently taken into custody. The individual has been booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a charge of first-degree murder. The name of the suspect has not been disclosed by NEWSCHAIN, as formal charges have yet to be filed.
