Christie Bozeman Obituary, Death; Third suspect arrested in connection with deadly shooting Cleveland woman

Christie Bozeman Obituary, Death; – The U.S. Marshals have apprehended Marshae Davis, the third individual sought in relation to the shooting that resulted in the death of Christie Bozeman, a 28-year-old woman from Cleveland.

Davis, aged 34, was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder and was taken into custody on Tuesday morning at a residence located in the 3200 block of Overlook Road in Cleveland Heights. “Months after the initial arrest in this case, the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit remains committed to seeking justice for this victim, as a third suspect is now in custody,” stated U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott. “We will continue to support the Cleveland Division of Police in ensuring that these violent fugitives are brought to justice.”

CASE DETAILS

The incident dates back to May 3, when law enforcement responded to the 2400 block of Central Avenue in Cleveland and discovered Bozeman inside her apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services attempted to provide assistance to Bozeman; however, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries at MetroHealth.

Previously, Cleveland police had identified 18-year-old Lenoai Johnson and 26-year-old Cashmere Cole as suspects in this tragic event. On May 15, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Johnson in an apartment near the 2400 block of Central Avenue in Cleveland. Subsequently, on October 11, Cole was apprehended by the Cleveland Heights Police Department.
