Jose Cruz Moreno-Roca Obituary, Death; – Last week, law enforcement discovered a body in the vicinity of Buckhorn Road in Montrose. The Montrose County Coroner’s Office has identified the individual as Jose Cruz Moreno-Roca, a 30-year-old resident of the area. His remains were located in the 71000 block of Buckhorn Road last Wednesday during a property search conducted by the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office.
The cause of death remains under investigation as an autopsy is being performed by the coroners. Multiple agencies are involved in the investigation, including the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the 7th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office, and the Montrose County Coroner’s Office of Medical Investigation.
