William O Kay Obituary, Death; – Chesterfield County Police are actively investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that took place in the 11800 block of Ivy Mill Road at approximately 7:19 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Officers responded to a single-vehicle incident near the intersection of Ivy Mill Road and River Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered a 76-year-old man, identified as William O. Kay, who had been ejected from his motorcycle. Mr. Kay, residing in the 11900 block of Bridgeforth Mill Drive in Amelia, was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Currently, there is no indication that speed or alcohol contributed to the accident. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
