Destiny Spirit Reedy Obituary, Death;- The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the woman who tragically lost her life in a fiery accident earlier this month in Birmingham.
The deceased has been identified as Destiny Spirit Reedy, aged 22, from Birmingham.
Reedy was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a single-vehicle collision with a tree in the 100 block of Industrial Drive at approximately 1:41 a.m. on January 10, 2026. Authorities had previously indicated that the incident led to a fire. Reedy was declared dead at the scene at 2:10 a.m., as reported by the coroner.
The Birmingham Police Department is actively pursuing an investigation into the events surrounding the crash. No further details have been disclosed.
