Cheryl S Deichmann Obituary, Death; – The Lexington County coroner identified the person who died in the crash Tuesday.
The coroner, Margaret Fisher, identified the deceased as Cheryl S. Deichmann, 78, of Lexington.
The coroner said Deichmann was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. She was traveling west on Old Chapin Road when she struck a car traveling east. She was taken to a hospital, where she died. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the incident.
