Ashlee Buzzard Arrested; – The search for 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard has concluded in sorrow. Although her remains were discovered in rural Utah earlier this month, they were not definitively identified through DNA until yesterday. Currently, investigators report that Ashlee Buzzard continues to be uncooperative, even after her arrest for her daughter’s murder.
Authorities indicate that Melodee Buzzard sustained gunshot wounds to the head around October 9th, which was the last day she was seen alive. The murder weapon has yet to be located; however, during a press conference, investigators stated that they have linked cartridge cases found at the crime scene to one discovered at Buzzard’s residence in Lompoc, California.
