Chikylah Richardson Obituary, Death; – Authorities have reported that a suspect, charged with the shooting death of a 17-year-old girl over the weekend in Ann Arbor, is now in custody as of Monday.
Chikylah Richardson, a 17-year-old resident of Pittsfield Township, was discovered deceased within an apartment located in the 1400 block of Pear Street following a shooting incident that occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to police reports.
While the age and identity of the suspect remain undisclosed, law enforcement officials indicated that the shooting is believed to have been intentional. A firearm, which investigators suspect was utilized in the commission of the crime, was retrieved by a K-9 unit after police responded to the scene.
