Richard Hayes II Obituary, Death; – A man struck and killed by a train Saturday night in Fox lake has been identified as Richard Hayes II, 22, of Ingleside.
An autopsy Monday indicated Hayes II died from blunt force injuries as a result of being struck, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office.
First responders arrived at the Ingleside train station about 10:20 p.m. to find Hayes II trapped under the train. He was pronounced dead in the emergency room at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Metra police and the Lake County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
