Shawn Warren Obituary, Death; – After several hours of probing into the death of a pedestrian, officials successfully identified the victim.
Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd reported that 48-year-old Shawn Warren lost his life while walking along a highway in Ashford, Alabama, on Monday morning.
Byrd noted that the victim did not have any identification on him, and initial efforts to ascertain his identity following the incident on U.S. 84 were unsuccessful.
However, by the afternoon, additional investigation uncovered Warren’s identity.
Byrd mentioned that Warren was homeless, but previously had connections to Minnesota.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Warren will not face any charges.
