Wardell Valentine Obituary, Death;- A driver lost his life in a single-vehicle accident in St. Gabriel.
As reported by the St. Gabriel Police Department, the incident occurred on Sunday, November 30, resulting in the death of Wardell Valentine.
Authorities stated that officers arrived at the location on Martin Luther King Parkway near Ointment Road. They found the vehicle involved, identified Valentine as the driver, and initiated life-saving efforts.
According to the police, Valentine succumbed to his injuries despite the attempts made by first responders.
St. Gabriel Police Chief Kevin Ambeau noted that Valentine was a lifelong resident of St. Gabriel.
“Chief K. Ambeau Sr., on behalf of the entire St. Gabriel Police Department, wishes to express his heartfelt condolences to the Valentine family, along with a multitude of other family members and friends who are grieving this significant loss,” stated a news release from the St. Gabriel Police Department.
