Rebecca Lee Guthrie Obituary, Death; – A 44-year-old woman, named Rebecca Lee Guthrie from Akron, has passed away after a stabbing and shooting incident over the weekend.
First responders arrived at the location in the 500 block of Miles Avenue in Akron at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Saturday, where they discovered the victim on the living room floor suffering from multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound, as reported by the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Guthrie was declared dead at the scene at 2:31 a.m.
Both the Akron Police Department and the Summit County Medical Examiner are conducting an investigation.
