David S Cook Obituary, Death; – The State Police have disclosed the identity of a man who tragically lost his life in a rollover accident on Route 481 in Cicero on Thursday evening.
The deceased individual was identified as David S. Cook, aged 67, from Syracuse.
At approximately 5:22 p.m., law enforcement officers responded to the incident on Route 481, close to Bear Road in the town of Cicero.
According to Trooper Jennifer Jiron, a spokesperson for the State Police, Cook was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Express van heading south when he attempted to navigate the Exit 10 off-ramp to Bear Road.
The van veered off the eastern shoulder, overturned, and ultimately came to a halt on its passenger side in a ditch, as reported by the troopers.
The man was declared deceased at the scene, according to the troopers.
