Paige Dowlin Obituary, Death; – On Monday, the coroner of Lancaster County identified a 15-year-old girl who perished after the recreational vehicle in which she resided caught fire.
According to the coroner, Paige Dowlin, a student at Pequea Valley High School, succumbed to smoke inhalation and thermal burns, with the death being classified as an accident.
The coroner was summoned to the Roamer’s Retreat Campground located at 5005 Lincoln Highway in Kinzers following the fire that occurred at 4 a.m. Paige was trapped within the burning camper.
Her brother shared on Facebook that Paige was inside the home with her 17-year-old sister when the fire broke out. The older sister managed to escape.
The origin of the fire is still undetermined.
A cousin has initiated an online fundraiser to assist with funeral costs.
The fundraiser indicated that the family also lost their residence, all personal belongings, and two cats in the blaze.
