Shlomo Cohen,Chaim Grossman Obituary, Death;- Four young men in their late teens have lost their lives following a wrong-way collision in New Jersey, according to authorities.

A 41-year-old man from Westminster, Colorado, was reportedly driving a Dodge pickup truck northbound in the southbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike when his vehicle collided with a Mazda SUV near milepost 1.3 in Carneys Point Township on Sunday, October 19, at approximately 12:40 a.m. local time, as reported by NJ.com, ABC affiliate WABC, and ABC affiliate WPVI, citing the New Jersey State Police.

Subsequent to the initial crash, the SUV was impacted by a tractor-trailer that was traveling in the right lane behind it.

The 19-year-old driver of the SUV, Yaakov Kilberg, along with three 18-year-old passengers  Aharon Lebovits, Shlomo Cohen, and Chaim Grossman  all perished, according to the reports. Grossman was from Fallsburg, New York, while the other three young men were from Lakewood, New Jersey.

Family members informed NBC affiliate WCAU that the teenagers were all close friends and had recently graduated. They had just embarked on a road trip when the tragic incident took place.
“I knew all these boys personally,” stated Lebovits’ brother, Shloimy Lebovits, to the outlet. “It’s a horrific tragedy.”

The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Christopher Neff, sustained serious injuries, as reported by WABC and WPVI. The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 29-year-old man from Nova Scotia, Canada, was unharmed, according to NJ.com.

As of Monday, October 20, no charges have been filed, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police confirmed to NJ.com. An investigation is currently underway.
