Roubins Francois Obituary, Death; – Cobb County police have reported the arrest of a Marietta man who is accused of fleeing the scene of a fatal hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a pedestrian on Monday evening. The event occurred at approximately 7:12 p.m. on Terrell Mill Road, just north of Bentley Road.

According to investigators, Roubins Francois, 36, of Marietta, was crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk when he was hit by a gray 2014 Ford Escape that was traveling south in the center turn lane. The driver failed to stop following the collision. Francois was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with life-threatening injuries and subsequently passed away.

Authorities later identified the driver as 28-year-old Kuntae Green, also from Marietta. Officers located Green at his residence and took him into custody. He is facing several charges, including felony hit-and-run, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, and violating center turn lane regulations.
