Joseph Granger Obituary, Death; – A man from Saginaw was fatally injured, and another man from Alma subsequently succumbed to his injuries after a collision in Kochville Township.

According to the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Lawndale Road and Kochville Road on Wednesday, October 15, at 12:53 a.m.

Upon their arrival, they discovered one of the drivers, a 49-year-old man, deceased on the roadside. Another individual, a 42-year-old man, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators reported that a silver GMC Yukon, operated by the Saginaw man, was towing a single-axle trailer and had come to a stop on Lawndale Road, just south of Kochville Road. The sheriff’s office suspects that the driver was outside of the vehicle at the time.

A red Dodge Ram, driven by the Alma man, was heading south on Lawndale Road when it collided with the trailer, the Yukon, and the other man, resulting in considerable damage.
The sheriff’s office has identified the Saginaw man as Joseph Granger, while the identity of the Alma man remains undisclosed.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the GMC’s stoppage in the roadway.
