Eric J Hurley Obituary, Death; – State Police have identified the victim who died in the wrong-way crash on 787 as a 38-year-old Albany man.
The crash happened around 4:39 a.m. Sunday in the area of Exit 2. Police said Eric J. Hurley was traveling north, when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling south in the northbound lane. Hurley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle is a 44-year-old man from Coxsackie. Newschain is not identifying him because he has not been charged with a crime at this point.
He remains in the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
