Megan Michelle Fisher Obituary, Death; – The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the woman who lost her life in a crash on Tuesday morning.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the 14800 block of Verdon Road at 7:38 a.m. to investigate a collision involving a Subaru and a Toyota Tundra. The female driver of the Subaru was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Wednesday, the sheriff’s office revealed her identity as Megan Michelle Fisher, 31, from King William.
“Initial investigations indicated that a 2025 Subaru was heading west on Verdon Road when it crossed the double solid line and collided with a Toyota Tundra traveling east on Verdon Road. Upon the arrival of deputies, they discovered the driver of the Subaru had succumbed to her injuries,” police stated.
Two minors who were passengers in the Subaru, along with the driver of the Toyota, were transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, as reported by the police.
“The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family of Megan Fisher during this challenging time,” the sheriff’s office remarked.
