Marco Ambrocio Gonzalez Obituary, Death; – The Pennsylvania State Police have confirmed the identity of a man from Dauphin County who tragically lost his life in a fiery accident on Interstate 83.

The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of Fairview Township, York County, close to Exit 40, New Cumberland, at 7:44 a.m. on September 28. As reported by the York County coroner, the vehicle veered off the road and collided head-on with a concrete barrier.

Subsequently, the vehicle slid along the barrier, causing the fuel tank to rupture and resulting in flames engulfing the vehicle almost instantly, according to officials.

The driver, identified as Marco Ambrocio Gonzalez, 33, from Harrisburg, was pronounced dead at the scene, as stated by state police. The coroner ruled his death as an accident. Troopers reported that the two passengers, both men in their 20s, sustained minor injuries.

A ramp of Interstate 83 was closed for over eight hours before it was reopened.
