Emma Grace Barnett Obituary, Death; – The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who died Saturday after the car she was in collided with a flatbed truck.
The coroner identified her Tuesday as Emma Grace Barnett, 19, from Harlan. The collision happened early Saturday morning on State Road 37 between Fort Wayne and Harlan. According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, investigators determined that for an unknown reason, the car Barnett was driving crossed over the center line into the path of the truck.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner ruled she died from multiple blunt force injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
