Daniel Spray Obituary, Death;- The Lubbock Police Department has identified the individual who tragically lost his life following a collision on Monday morning near the intersection of 25th Street and Indiana Avenue as Daniel Spray, aged 57.
LPD received a call regarding the accident at 7:45 a.m.
According to LPD, the investigation indicated that a 16-year-old was operating a pickup truck traveling south, while Spray was proceeding north on Indiana Avenue, making a left turn onto 24th Street. LPD reported that the two vehicles collided on the roadway. The pickup subsequently struck a utility pole and a nearby residence.
Authorities stated that Spray was discovered deceased within the passenger vehicle. The 16-year-old driver of the pickup and a 13-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and were transported to University Medical Center.
Officers located Spray inside the passenger vehicle, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
