Anne F Everton Obituary, Death;- A woman from Baltimore lost her life when the cargo van she was traveling in collided with a marked State Police SUV parked on the shoulder of Interstate 87, leading to a multi-vehicle accident that resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes throughout Friday evening.

According to New York State Police, the marked police SUV was stationary on the northbound shoulder of the highway, conducting a traffic stop on a 2011 Mercedes after it was pulled over for a traffic violation when the incident occurred.

Both vehicles were halted on the shoulder with the emergency lights of the police SUV activated when a 2015 Ford Transit heading north struck the rear of it, resulting in a multi-vehicle crash.
