Nicholas James Henry Obituary, Death;  Iowa officials have identified a 25-year-old man who lost his life in a crash on Monday afternoon in Madison County.

As per a crash report, Nicholas James Henry, hailing from Truro, was heading southbound in the 4400 block of SW Grand Prairie Parkway when he lost control and collided. Authorities indicate that Henry was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the Mini Cooper, which subsequently rolled over multiple times.

The Iowa State Patrol crash report indicates that Henry was driving at a high speed prior to the accident, according to eyewitness accounts.
According to the most recent statistics from the Iowa Department of Transportation, 206 individuals have died on Iowa roads this year. This figure is 42 less than the same period in 2024. Over the past five years, an average of 353 individuals have been killed in crashes across the state each year.
