Eusebio Cortez Obituary, Death; – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the car driver who lost his life after being hit by a train as 86-year-old Eusebio Cortez from Bakersfield.
The coroner’s report indicated that on September 26, 2025, at approximately 10:56 p.m., Cortez was operating a vehicle that collided with a train at the intersection of King Street and East 18th Street. He was declared dead at the scene due to his injuries.
