Marcus Mark Antley Obituary, Death; – A second victim of the tragic shooting that took place at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino shortly after midnight on Sunday, September 28, has been confirmed.
As per officials, two individuals lost their lives and five others sustained injuries. One of the deceased has been identified as Marcus “Mark” Antley, a retired U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Agent, as confirmed by Eagle Pass mayor Aaron Valdez in a social media update. KSAT reports that the second victim has been identified as Alicia Sanchez, a resident of Dimmit County, situated approximately an hour from the site of the shooting.
Dimmit County Judge Martha A. Ponce stated in a Facebook post on Sunday that in light of the “tragic and senseless” shooting, the county is “dedicated to working alongside Maverick County officials and the City of Eagle Pass to offer any necessary support.”
