Deshanna Donovan Obituary, Death; – Authorities have made public surveillance footage of an individual who is suspected of fatally shooting a woman in her residence in Queens two weeks prior.
Deshanna Donovan, aged 21, was shot in her apartment complex located at 26-30 96th Street in East Elmhurst on September 12.
The NYPD is investigating the possibility that the woman was killed by a former partner.
During a press briefing on Thursday, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny stated that the surveillance video suggested Donovan was familiar with the assailant.
