Luis P Colon Obituary, Death; – The Berks County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.
According to officials, 28-year-old Luis P. Colon from Allentown, Lehigh County, was fatally injured yesterday when the motorcycle he was riding ignored traffic controls and collided with a semi-trailer.
Police officers from Cumru Township were conducting an investigation into a crash on Route 222 near the Grings Hill Road exit when it was reported that Colon’s motorcycle allegedly bypassed traffic controls and nearly collided with a police officer.
Investigators indicate that Colon proceeded south on Route 222 into Brecknock Township and exited the highway at the Adamstown exit, disregarding stopped vehicles.
At that point, he entered a traffic lane and struck the semi-trailer.
The coroner’s office has not scheduled an autopsy, and the cause of death for Colon remains undetermined.
