Ty B Lewis Obituary, Death; – The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed the identity of the individual who was fatally shot during an officer-involved incident in Harrisburg on Sunday.
According to a statement from the patrol, Ty B. Lewis, aged 31, from Columbia, was present at the location of a domestic disturbance on Railroad Street.
Deputies from the Boone County Sheriff’s office engaged with Lewis, who was armed.
A statement from the Boone County Sheriff’s office indicated that Lewis did not comply with the commands given by the deputies.
It was reported that Lewis was shot and killed after he allegedly advanced towards the deputies.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the shooting.
